The Avalon Park Timber Creek Youth Sports Association was established in 2001.   We are a non-profit organization, run entirely by volunteers.  Partnering with Pop Warner, APTCYS started Avalon Wolves youth football and cheer organization.   Our goal is to have a youth sports program that benefits all participants, teaching good sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork and self discipline through football and cheer.

Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world.

Consisting of approximately 325,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 14 years old, Pop Warner is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the world. For more information, please visit Pop Warner website.

Pop Warner, through our Little Scholars Program, is the only youth national sports program in the US where the athletes need to perform well in the classroom as well as on the field.  This helps develop a sense of responsibility and appreciation for school in each participant.
